Seva Day

Seva Day

Every third Sunday of the month.

Please bring a lunch item to share! We begin our seva after the Sunday program and community lunch.

Seva is a time-tested ancient yogic practice. For thousands of years first in the ancient East, selfless service (seva) has been at the forefront of ashram life and is what sustains a spiritual center of this kind.

Seva is a spiritual practice in itself. Seva is a practice of staying present, focused, and mindful with whatever you’re doing, without concern for how it’s going to benefit you.

When a person commits to selfless service at an ashram, they are not only helping sustain the center, but they are also putting in the necessary work to break down tensions inside which will lead to a more fruitful meditation practice. On the third Sunday of each month, the community comes together to do just that and would love to have you join us! Contact Us

Women’s Retreat

Spend an entire day relaxing, rejuvenating, and reinvigorating your body and mind in an intentional, shared space with fellow Goddesses. Our theme for this retreat is the sanskrit term “Lila”, which translates as Joyful Play. We’ll enjoy a playful day with joyous yoga, hiking, pranayama, crafts, and meditation for all women and all who identify as women. Some activities are inspired by our Kids’ Summer Art Camp. Tea, snacks and a nourishing lunch are provided.

“The purpose of meditation is to still the thought waves of the mind.”
